Dolphin Research Center's Adult DolphinLab courses offer experiential education at its finest.  Each week-long program features hands-on activities and observation time with the dolphins and an interesting, informative mix of seminars, workshops, demonstrations and more.  You'll learn from the best teachers of all - the dolphins themselves.  Each Adult DolphinLab course is fully college-accredited through Florida Keys Community College.

DolphinLab: Adult Basic DolphinLab

Our entry-level course prepares you for the Career Focused Series DolphinLab courses. For those who just want to learn more about these amazing marine mammals, it’s a great vacation and the ultimate dolphin experience. It is a prerequisite to successfully complete this course before taking the Career Focused Series DolphinLab courses.

DolphinLab: Focused Career Series

The DolphinLab focused career courses combine plenty of hands-on experience with the dolphins, plus intensive academics. Delve more deeply into the fields of behavioral science, animal care and training and cognition research. Applicants are expected to have a strong interest in pursuing a career centered on marine mammals. Earn college credit while you learn! You must take the Focused Career Series courses within five years of completing Basic DolphinLab otherwise you will need to repeat Basic DolphinLab.

There is a 20% discount in the cost of the Adult Basic DolphinLab program for students who become members at the $240.00 level or higher (parent membership).  This does not apply to students applying for FKCC credit.
