Dolphin Camp
Totally, hands down, it had to be one of the best weeks of my life.
I love dolphin camp. It was even better than I thought it would be.
The staff members that made an outstanding contribution were the Education staff and the dorm room mother.
It was so much better than I thought. This has been one of the best camps I have ever gone to.
Saying good morning and good night to the dolphins was a great and heartwarming way to end the day

The camp was very fun and entertaining. The counselors were amazing.

Teen DolphinLab
The Basic Dolphin Lab program exceeded my personal goals and expectations. This experience proved very valuable to me, as it was a great experience for the future I am pursuing. I learned more than I expected and thoroughly enjoyed the time I got to spend interacting with the dolphins and the DRC staff. I can’t wait to come back next summer! I felt very comfortable at the dorms and with my group. The pre-program assistance was super helpful, especially with scheduling the flights

Absolutely! I learned so much about how everything humas do affects the environment, and even how humans can do so much to help! I will take what I have learned back home. My experience has made me sure that in the future, I will respect and help the marine mammals and the environment
Every step of this program from registering to our final day has been a great experience. Everyone involved ensured that I was comfortable and enjoying myself as well as staying safe
All of the demonstrations were awesome and hearing and actually watching the love that the trainers had for the animals was amazing to see. Truly captivating.
I totally agree with DRC’s goals and I think they do a great job at accomplishing their goals. They care for their animals with so much love and they educate and inspire everyone who visits.
I wanted to let you know how much of an impact DolpinLab and DRC made on me and my life. I never thought I would make the connections I did while I was there. I continue to talk to everyone each day and I can’t wait for the next year. I look at the pictures and videos of the dolphins and sea lions…and think about all the amazing interactions and bonds I made with all of them. something I carry with me throughout each day. I have changed my lifestyle as well. I am doing everything in my power to make healthier choices for the environment. I definitely didn’t know how big of an impact we make on earth and each day I talk to my friends and family about how to conserve.
TeenBasic DolphinLab was even better than my previous experience with camps at DRC. I loved how I still learned more, got even closer with the dolphins (and even some staff) amd was introduced to even more possibilities in the marine mammal field. This DolphinLab got me interested in research as well, not just training!
Everything at DRC was amazing and I thought the dorms were awesome.
DRC has opened my eyes to ways we can connect and protect animals in both the wild and in human care. I plan to try to use less plastic as well as take the information I’ve learned and pass it on to others!
Adult DolphinLab
Having the opportunity to be up close and personal for five weeks with the dolphins in Florida will forever be ingrained in my memory. The DolphinLab educational program is extensive and comprehensive, engaging and in my opinion superior as there is nothing comparable. The Educational staff as well as the animal trainers at DRC are passionate of the mission, are true education professionals and clearly shared their knowledge. The program provided me the opportunity to connect with the pod on a special level, and observe a top-notch operation.
It’s always about the animals, what they can teach us and what we can learn from them. DRC is focused on educating the public in an enthusiastic and informative way, the trainer-dolphin relationships are obviously very strong and the mission and philosophy of the co-founder and all staff is clear and is inspirational.
It’s rare that I’ve had such an emotionally and intellectually fulfilling week, and I’ve certainly never had this much fun staying at a dorm!
Really liked the seminars this session – every instructor was very knowledgeable and eager to share their wealth of information.
I wanted to learn and learn i did! I wanted to experience the world of the people who passionately work here and I did! It was cognitive and emotional. I am going home with additional scientific evidence to promote the well-being of marine life and the environment.
DolphinLab has reawakened my passion and creativitiy for finding more ways of bringing these issues to land locked people.
I love the compassion and the way everyone here is focused on the animals and not the profit. I don’t know how else to express how grateful I am that I could become a part of the family here.
I love that there is complete transparency here. It amplifies the respect I have for this program and this facility.
I like the focus on research that DRC implements, as well as the relaxed atmosphere where the welfare and choice of the animals is prioritized highest.
Dream Week 2017! I will definitely keep my eye out for legislation that affects marine life and oceans. I love to call my legislators and be politically active, so this is another rallying point!
