Grassy Key, FL… Dolphin Research Center is excited to welcome a new member to their family. An adorable dolphin calf was born at approximately 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 23rd to Merina, a 19-year-old female. Both mom and baby are doing well!
Now celebrating their 20th Anniversary, Dolphin Research Center is home to a family of Atlantic bottlenose dolphins and California sea lions. Located on the Overseas Highway at mile marker 59, Grassy Key, the center is open to the public seven days a week from 9 am to 4:30 pm with fun-filled, informative narrated presentations every half an hour and a variety of exciting interactive programs.
