DolphinLab & DolphinCamp Scholarship Opportunities
Dolphin Research Center is a non-profit marine mammal education and research facility. Through education, research and rescue, Dolphin Research Center promotes peaceful coexistence, cooperation and communication between marine mammals, humans and the environment we share with the well being of DRC's animals taking precedence.
To further this mission, we would like to make our DolphinLab and DolphinCamp programs available to those adults, teens, and campers whose interest and enthusiasm exceeds their financial abilities. Thanks to the generosity of multiple DRC donors, three scholarships were created to make this a reality.
The Ariel Aboody Guterman Memorial Scholarships
The Ariel Aboody Guterman Memorial Scholarship is available for (1) adult attending All About Dolphins DolphinLab, and for (1) teen attending Teen Basic DolphinLab.

Ariel was a generous spirit with a deep love for animals, and a very special connection with dolphins since she was a little girl. She would want to share the amazing experiences she had at DRC with others. Dolphins are such beautiful and intelligent creatures who deserve our care and protection. We know Ariel is smiling down on them always.
Each Ariel Aboody Guterman Memorial Scholarship is awarded for $2,100.00, covering full tuition with some remaining to assist with travel expenses. Each scholarship is awarded based on the greatest financial need and highest motivation to share knowledge acquired in the program for the benefit of marine mammals around the world.

Dolphin Research Center welcomed Rainbow from the New England Aquarium in the early 1990s, and he quickly became an irreplaceable part of the DRC dolphin family. He lived up to his name in every way — through his remarkable athleticism, his bright spirit, and the unmistakable “dolphinality” that made him shine.
