DolphinLab and DolphinCamp Scholarship Opportunities
Scholarships Available for All About Dolphins and Teen Basic DolphinLabs
We know there are many adults and teens whose interest and passion for improving the lives of marine mammals both in human care and in the wild exceeds their bank accounts. We are excited to announce that, through the generosity of a DRC Donor, the Ariel Aboody Guterman Memorial All About Dolphins DolphinLab Scholarship, and the Ariel Aboody Guterman Memorial Teen Basic DolphinLab Scholarship were created.
Ariel was a generous spirit with a deep love for animals, and a very special connection with dolphins since she was a little girl. She would want to share the amazing experiences she had at DRC with others. Dolphins are such beautiful and intelligent creatures who deserve our care and protection. We know Ariel is smiling down on them always.
Each scholarship amount is $2,100.00 ($1,600.00 towards tuition + $500.00 towards travel/lodging). The scholarship awards are based on the greatest financial need and highest motivation to share knowledge acquired in the program for the benefit of marine mammals around the world.
Please complete and return the All About Dolphins DolphinLab Scholarship application to be considered as a recipient for 2025.
Please complete and return the Teen Basic DolphinLab Scholarship application to be considered as a recipient for 2025.
The applicant must also complete and submit the All About Dolphins DolphinLab or Teen Basic DolphinLab online application available on Dolphin Research Center’s website when enrollment opens. We cannot consider an applicant as a Scholarship recipient without receiving the online application. Please note: If the applicant enrolls in more than one Adult or Teen DolphinLab within the same season and is awarded the Scholarship, the Scholarship is applied to only All About Dolphins or Teen Basic DolphinLab.
Completed applications with all required materials must be received by the deadline indicated on the Scholarship application. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
Please note: All About Dolphins and Teen Basic DolphinLabs are prerequisites to participate in additional DolphinLab programs. These programs have limited capacity and tend to fill quickly. We recommend applying for the program and Scholarship sooner rather than later in the enrollment process.
Scholarships Available for Teen Intermediate DolphinLab
We are excited to announce that, through the generosity of a DRC Donor, the Kibby Memorial Scholarship-Teen Intermediate DolphinLab was created. Two (2) scholarships are available: (1) scholarship for $1,600.00 tuition (without onsite lodging and meals), and (1) scholarship for $2,050.00 (with onsite lodging and meals). The scholarship awards are based on the greatest financial need and highest motivation to share knowledge acquired in the program for the benefit of marine mammals around the world.
Please complete and return the Teen Intermediate DolphinLab Scholarship application to be considered as a recipient for 2025.

For the 2025 Teen Intermediate DolphinLab Scholarship application, completed applications with all required materials must be received by April 1, 2025. We are excited to announce that, through the generosity of a DRC Donor, the Kibby Memorial Scholarships-DolphinCamp (10-12) and (13-14) were created. One (1) scholarship per age range is available. Each scholarship amount covers the $1,100.00 tuition. The scholarships are awarded based on the greatest financial need and highest motivation to share knowledge acquired in the program for the benefit of marine mammals around the world.
Please complete and return the DolphinCamp (10-12) or DolphinCamp (13-14) Scholarship application to be considered as a recipient for 2025.
The applicant must also complete and submit the DolphinCamp online application available on Dolphin Research Center’s website when enrollment opens. We cannot consider an applicant as a Scholarship recipient without receiving the online DolphinCamp application.
