My Story: JJ has not yet arrived at Dolphin Research Center, and we’re eagerly awaiting the moment we can welcome him home. Thank you for your patience—your support means the world to JJ, who will soon call DRC his forever home.

JJ is a gentle, affectionate dolphin whose presence brings warmth wherever he goes. Born to Melissa and Flippy, JJ is gentle, affectionate, and playful, and he adores spending time with people, sharing tactile attention and joyful moments. JJ’s physical limitations keep him from jumping out of the water now, but he remains happy and healthy.  He enjoys receiving hugs and kisses from his favorite humans, and simply being near those he loves. His heart, charm, and lifetime of shared memories make him a once-in-a-lifetime dolphin to all his friends. To know JJ is to love him — he has captured the hearts of thousands of people and has been welcomed as another patriarch at Dolphin Research Center.

Nicknames: Duck

Our Mission - Through education, research and rescue, Dolphin Research Center promotes peaceful coexistence, cooperation and communication between marine mammals, humans and the environment we share with the well being of DRC's animals taking precedence.
